In my view,沙中線is not very useful for LS residents except their destination is kowloon east,九龍城or土瓜灣.IF we go hung hum, 3 extra station is added when compare with east railway route!

What is u opinion?

no need to change car is already gd.
the bottle neck is now at Kowloon tong,
change car there making me sick.

Change line is inevitable, from LS to Central (沙中線), we still have to change at Tai Wai, Admiralty, it would be a headache if you travel at peak hourswhile the reward is the travel time shortened to 36 minutes, according to MTR.

If need to go to Admiralty, you can change car at TaiWai or HungHom via 沙中線.
馬鐵 will be connected to 西鐵 thru HungHom.
No need to change car until Hunghom if u want to go to HK island.

我估呢十年暫時應該都唔會…你睇番西貢的地形及人口都係好分散同低密度的…亦唔見政府話發展西貢為住宅區,港鐵再伸長唔見得有利潤…
當然幾十年後就好難講! ...
